The upstairs public rooms in the clubhouse include the Main Bar and a second smaller bar known as the Golden Oldies bar. We also have a large hall and fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor. The large hall downstairs is used as both a meeting room, wet weather playroom and a restaurant and is a very flexible space for the club to have.
The restaurant is open for lunches before 1st team home matches on a Saturday. On Sunday mornings, a full English breakfast is served and later on, snack meals around lunch time are also available.
All rooms are available to hire for functions and corporate activities such as training, meetings or seminars. Club members qualify for a discounted rate when booking function rooms
The Bar
Under the aegis of our 75th anniversary year, club members conducted a series of fund raising activities to generate additional funds over and above routine income so that we could improve the appearance of the clubhouse.
With two donations and the combined activities of the teams and squads we raised £6,400. Members voted on the improvements they wanted and we now have a fully redecorated and refurbished main bar with a complete set of new chairs to go with the refurbished tables. An extra item, which was partly funded by a generous donation, allowed the club to acquire a projector to show televison on a large screen.
