Welcome to the main page for the Under 8s

Camberley Under 8’s tag rugby team meet at 10.00am for up to 2 hours every Sunday for training at Camberley Rugby Club in Watchetts Park.

If your son or daughter is in year 2 at school they are more than welcome to join us for tag rugby and rugby related activities throughout the season. The aim is to be active, learn rugby skills and most of all have fun. 

In addition to training there are a number of fixtures against other teams, tournaments and rugby festivals throughout the season. The fixtures cater for all level of players, both boys and girls giving something for all children to aim for if they so wish.

CRFC Youth and mini section are also committed to the development of parents skills to develop the players.

The under 8’s support staff consist of:

• 3 RFU Level 1 qualified coaches
• 9 RFU Tag rugby qualified coaches (with an additional 7 coaches by the end ofOctober)
• 3 Tag rugby qualified referees
• 3 Tag rugby qualified first aiders

All of which received the above training at CRFC, all of which are encouraged to develop these skills further under the guidance of CRFC and the RFU.
